Emma Earnshaw studied Illustration at Winchester and Bristol School of Art.
In 2013, a friend suggested sampling her designs onto kitchenware. The quirkiness of collage stands out well and offered a different style of table mat to the consumer market. Collaborating with a UK manufacturer, Once Upon a Table was born.

The designs are created from collections of clippings cutting and general hoarding of photographs, drawings and scans of objects and textures. These materials or drawings are then snipped and scanned to conjure into fun, playful, unique illustrations.

Emma undertakes regular commissions for Tatler, Horse & Hound, Country Life and other rural titles in addition to private commissions. These range from book illustrations, invitations, wedding stationery and prints. Emma is the illustrator behind the leading child’s toiletries company, Childs Farm and regular designer for Champagne Pol Roger.

If you would like to get in touch for a chat about a print or personal commission, we'd be happy to hear from you.

Many thanks for visiting
